Course content
The course focuses on the other half of the 19th century. In the context of the changing Czech society, the development of schools and genres is presented, including the generation gaps and polemics. Key topics: the heritage of K.H. Mácha, personalities of J. Neruda and V. Hálek, the romantic, realistic and naturalistic prose, development of poetry and the theater, literary criticism.

Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Demonstration, Active metods (simulation, situational contingency methods, drama,acting, namagerial acting )
