Course content
|
The course is focused on the spoken language. The students will be informed about the current situation of the territorial dialects of Czech as well as about the dynamic relations of standard Czech to local vernaculars in particular regions of the Czech Republic. In the other part of the course, social dialects (incl. the vernacular of immigrants) will be explored.
