The course deals with the specifics of literary criticism as a genre, its history, main tasks and methods. Typology of literary criticism is presented as well as the basic possibilities of interpretation of a literary work. Key personalities of Czech literary criticism and current important topics are presented. Students´own literary reviews are required.
