Course content
The course covers the history of Czech literature in the period between WWs I and II. Literary process in prose, poetry and drama is pursued. Key topics: Czech literature in European context; the so-called proletarian literature; schools of poetism, expresionism and surrealism; major literary personalities.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
