Course content
The seminar extends the previous course of the literature for children and the youth. It aims at a more detailed presentation of the representative works pertaining to particular national literatures, chiefly in the viewpoint of a genre.

Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)

Learning outcomes
The seminar extends the previous course of the literature for children and the youth. It aims at a more detailed presentation of the representative works pertaining to particular national literatures, chiefly in the viewpoint of a genre.
The aim of the seminar is to present selected titles of world literature for children and young adults (hereinafter LDM) in more detail, focusing on fairy tales, original fairy tales, and narrative prose with child heroes. The seminar emphasizes the phenomenon of outsiderism/otherness and analyzes how these texts contribute to the emotional maturity and socialization of child readers.
