Course content
The course explains specific features of literary works aimed at the adolescent readers in the past and in the present. Key topics: The concept of the literature for children and for the youth, its origin, history and contemporary situation; its position in the general framework of literature; major works and authors; interpretation possibilities.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence, Students' self-study, Seminar activities
