Course content
The course presents an overview of the key concepts of communication, style and theory of text. The so-called style forming factors, functional style, a communicative situation and its constituents and their reflection in text formation are analyzed. Text coherence and cohesion, intertextuality, text production and text reception are explained.

Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis

Active participation in seminars, completion of ongoing partial tasks, paper including written theses, final discussion. Mastery of all thematic areas defined in lectures and seminars, written test.
