Learning activities and teaching methods

Learning outcomes
The course consists of lectures in which students are introduced to significant architectural projects and studios. Special attention will be given to recently acclaimed buildings in both international and domestic contexts. Instruction is partially based on student activity, during which students will work with the instructor to formulate and reflect on the qualities of the given buildings. The goal is to expand students? ability to critically analyze current developments. By focusing on individual studies, emphasis will be placed on identifying broader themes and contexts.
Students: 1. Develops critical thinking skills applied to architectural design. 2. Apply analytical skills in the interdisciplinary context of architecture and urban planning. 3. Effectively communicate their opinions and arguments in a professional setting. 4. Demonstrates independence and initiative in the study and analysis of architectural works. 5. Prepares for professional and academic careers with an emphasis on reflecting on contemporary architectural issues.
