Learning outcomes
The course consists of lectures in which students are introduced to significant architectural projects and studios. Special attention will be given to recently acclaimed buildings in both international and domestic contexts. Instruction is partially based on student activity, during which students will work with the instructor to formulate and reflect on the qualities of the given buildings. The goal is to expand students? ability to critically analyze current developments. By focusing on individual studies, emphasis will be placed on identifying broader themes and contexts.
The student: 1. Develops critical thinking within the framework of architectural analysis and reflection. 2. Strengthens the ability to study independently and gain a deeper understanding of complex architectural concepts. 3. Improves communication and discussion skills in a professional setting. 4. Applies an interdisciplinary approach to the study of architecture, taking into account historical and contemporary contexts. 5. Prepares for professional practice and research
