Course content
|
Lectures: 1. - 3. Art till the middle of the 20th Century - modern and post-modern art - principal difference, fauvismus, expressionism, cubism, futurism, abstract painting and František Kupka. 4. -6. European interwar avantgarde - Dada, Russian constructivism, Piet Mondrian and De Stijl, Bauhaus, Breton and surrealismus. 7.- 9. Art after 1945s - abstract expressionism in USA informel and tasismus in Europe, Pop art and new realism, Fluxus and action art, minima art, land art. 10. -12. Postmodernismus Zero point group Zero, konceptualni art, postmodernismus, (post)postmodernismus. 13. -14. Czech art after the second world war - Czech informel, neokonstruktivismus, new figure, 1970s and 1980s, personalities of the contemporary Czech art.
