Course content
Exercises 1. Practicing linear and shaded drawings, different types of hatching. 2. Still-life - square shapes, expressing space on the desktop (vanishing point perspective). Transmission of directions,vision, composition. 3. Still-life - round objects (cylinder, ball). Emphasis on axial symetry and ellipses. 4. Combined still-life (using of all previously acquired knowledge). 5. Loosely hanging textile, knot etc. 6. Expressing the character and surface of different materials (textile, paper, glass, products of nature). 7. Studies of shoes, bags, backpacks etc.). 8. Studies of plants in a pot, organic shapes. 9. Studies of chairs, paint and sculpture stands (construction, space). 10. Interior and exterior studies (perspective). 11. Studies of animal skulls. 12. Studies of human skull and skeleton. 13. Studies of products of nature and insects (subsequent execution on an enlarged scale). 14. Stylization of staged natural motifs. Collective presentation of semestral works.

The description of the basic depictive techniques (pencil and charcoal drawing, watercolors, tempera colors).
