Course content
1.Sokratic topics of knowledge and care for the soul, everyday knowledge, maieutiké and areté. 2. Socratic knowledge in ourselves, open knowledge. 3. Plato?s allegory of the cave and knowledge. 4. Education as personality growth. 5. Naturalness of human, philosophical anthropology. 6. Ontology and noetics of education, contemporary educational theories. 7. Presumptions and possibilities of educational metatheory.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming)
  • Class attendance - 14 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 40 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to leave the platitude of education as a package of practical suggestions describing how to lead people and how to transmit knowledge. Education will be dealt with as an activity that forms man?s relationship with themselves, with community and with the world. It deals with education in its ontic, social and ontological dimension. Education is contrasted with the crisis of authority, of culture and of values
The students will acknowledge themselves with the informations acording to the goal and the matter of the course.
