Course content

Sources of information and their researching 6. Information sources at Regional Library 7. Strategy of reading of scientific papers 8. Strategy of writing of scientific papers 9. Fundamental policy of quoting in science 10. Bachelor thesis I. 11. Bachelor thesis II., styles of citing 12. Final presentation of bachelor theses 13. Rules of presentation 14. Checking final papers

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 40 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course provides an introduction to the formal and subject matter aspect of preparation of bachelor theses, its analytical and technical part, as well as the quotation standards. It accentuates the ability to search the relevant informations in various sources.
The students will acknowledge themselves with the informations acording to the goal and the matter of the course.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.
