Course content
1) "Axenzeit"; myth and philosophy 2) Principles of Greek thought 3) Hellenism and the beginnings of the Christian age 4) Problems of the Christian thought and its confrontation with the Greek thought structure 5) The scientific revolution of the 17. century and the enlightenment 6) The thought structure of the 19. century 7) The revolutionary science of the 20. century

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming)
  • Class attendance - 14 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
This subject is focused on basic informations and knowledges which are connected with philosophy.
The students will acknowledge themselves with the informations acording to the goal and the matter of the course.
