Course content
Copyright law, structure of the final thesis Bibliographic citations (rules for citation, citation methods) Graphic design of documents, typographic rules Rules for formatting in a word processor Processing of a large document (styles, inserting images and tables, generating lists, cross-references) Working with PDF files Rules for creating a presentation, creating your own presentation Spreadsheet (basics of working with tables, basic functions and graphs) Creating questionnaires (Google Forms)

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence, Demonstration of student skills

  • Home preparation for classes - 15 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to spread students' knowledge and skills in the preparation of electronic documents, especially for theses. Students will learn to process large documents, follow standards for editing documents, typographical rules and rules for citing literature according to the standards. Students will create presentations that typographical rules will be kept. In addition, students will work with tables, charts, and forms.
Students will be able to process large documents like theses and present them.

Student's performance analysis, Practical demonstration of acquired skills

The condition of credit is submission of assigned tasks and compulsory attendance.
