The course focuses on examining the boundaries of various hierarchical levels through the lens of cultural geography and also on the issue of cultural boundaries. In the seminars, students will discuss the differences between the concepts of borders and boundaries, identities, symbolism, narratives, cultural politics, cross-border and globalization influences and other cultural phenomena with an emphasis on space.
