Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to introduce history of museology in wider social and cultural context (it focuses on conditions in the Czech Republic), with the contemporary net of museum institutions in the Czech Republic, with museum legislation and also with modern museum practice.
Students will learn to know the history museum in the broader social and cultural context (focusing on conditions in the Czech Republic), the current network of museum institutions in the CR, the current legislation and the museum of modern museum practice.
Prerequisites
Fulfilment of previous study obligations, knowledge of Czech and Czechoslovak history.

Essay
