Learning outcomes
|
This lecture will analyze the basic political ideologies dominated in modern times to European political thinking. An emphasis will be set particualarly on the longterm development lines going back often into the 18th century. The course will offer also the theoretc introduction concerning the particular idea of ideology. The subject is focused markedly interdisciplinary and anticipates partial independent study of the primary texts. The explanations line of the course is oriented particularly on the present continental and Anglo-American political thinking and understanding of its genealogic roots in the past. The aim of the course it to acquire the basic orientation in today discussions taking place in political thinking and acquaintance not only with content postulates of the particular ideologies but also with the main representatives of the key thinking streams in modern political philosophy.
It corresponds to the definition of the subject and to the demands given in syllabus.
