Course content

Abstract: The aim is to provide an interpretation of regional history, in comparison of the Liberec Region with border regions in the Euroregion Neisse, to remind movable and immovable monuments and the possibility of using them for example in the preparation of historical excursions. By studying the work remains to acquaint them with the basic methods in the creation of regionally aimed works, provided the use of known topographical, statistical, topographical, art and other professional guides. Emphasis is placed on the knowledge of the source series from the Middle Ages to modern times. One of the goals of education is to bring regional history on the selected topics from the Liberec region in comparison with selected sites in the Czech Republic, and remind movable and immovable monuments. Thematic definition: 01) Definition of the region (history vs. geography), problems of research 02) Published sources I (Middle Ages, Early Modern Times) 03) Published sources II (19th and 20th centuries) 04) Topographical guides I 05) Topographical guides II 06) Regional research in the field 07) Synthesis knowledge and skills and ways of their applying

Learning outcomes
|
The aim is to deal with the regional history in comparison of the Liberec region with the close frontier regions in Euroregion Nisa, to remind movable and also immovable monuments and the possibilities to exploit them, for example in the preparation of historical excursions.
Students will seznámnei basic methods to create a regionally focused work, provided the use of known topographical, statistical, topographical, uměnovědných and other professional guides.

Prerequisites
|
Before enlisting subjects marked as II or III student has to pass same subjects with mark I or II.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
Active attendance on discussions (lessons); fulfilment of homework; passing a test successfully; study of recommended literature.
