Learning outcomes
The lecture will draw out progress of the care of historical monuments in the Middle Europe, especially Czech lands. It’s going to point out problems and structure of the contemporary care of historical monuments in the Czech Republic; students will familiarize themselves with contemporary literature and publications of the NPÚ. Important material sources are going to be introduced to students, especially ways of documentation and research of historical buildings. The students are going to familiarize themselves with the basics of the cultural relics evidence in the Ústřední seznam kulturních památek ČR and movable fund of cultural relics of the Liberec region, conservation and restoration of wooden plates paintings, wall paintings, sculptures (wooden and stone). Lectures are synchronized with terrain research. There is a possibility of a field trip.
Students will learn the basic problems of conservation and restoration of monuments and sites

Fulfillment of previous study obligations, general knowledge of conservation and restoration of monuments and sites
