Tutorials 1. Intorduction to multimedia 2. Basic work with text and effective use of graphics in text 3. Graphics and image handling applications 4. Digitalization devicees and technologies 5. Digital photography 6. Raster image resources 7. Advanced editing of raster graphics 8. Vector graphics - areas use, comparing to raster graphics 9. Vector graphics - software and techniques 10. Means of visual communication 11. Forms of visual communication and their dependance on particular puropose 12. Project 13. Project 14. Project presentation

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Demonstration, Project teaching, Working activities (workshops), Individual creative and artistic activities

Learning outcomes
Aim of the subject is to make students acquainted with the basic acquisition, editing and presentation technology in the field of computer graphics. In this course, students acquire knowledge of various graphics formats and learn to use them effectively. Students alsou acquire basic sklills with computer graphics programs. They also gain basic teamwork skills during work on their final project.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme, possibility to continue in Multimedia Technologies.
