The aim of the lectures and seminars is to equip students with the knowledge, habits and skills necessary to teach all components of arithmetic at the first level of primary school - number fields, terms, working with word problems. In addition, to introduce students to methodological procedures in teaching the curriculum, working with teaching aids, literature and the use of arithmetic in practice. In the lectures, students are introduced to the theoretical issues of didactics of mathematics and arithmetic. Seminars are devoted to the practical use of theoretical knowledge and students' own work.
Knowledge of essential concepts of arithmetics, intuitive set theory and propositional caculus. Acquiring basic skills for teaching mathematics at level 1.
