Course content
1. Classification problems - illustration of different types of problems and their method solving. 2. The work with mathematically talented pupils (Olympiads and others competitions). Learning outcomes
The seminar is intended on introduction of students to mathematical competitions at basic and secondary school and an analysis of the tasks included. Students are to be shown the model answers and new trends and solving problems.

Knowledge of secondary school mathematics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis

Active participation on seminars. Work out individual papers - problems from mathematical competitions - and their presentation. Work out the term`s work - solution of engaged task from mathematic competition. Knowledge of syllabus of basic and secondary school and different methods of solution on the secondary school level.
