Course content
Mathematical fundamentals of the finite element method.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)
  • Class attendance - 70 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 40 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Mathematical fundamentals of the finite element method.
Student gets basic knowledges of modern methods of partial differential equations included finite element method.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of linear algebra.

Oral exam, Written exam

Credit: Working out a semestral work. Exam: Written and oral.
