Course content
The importance of electronically processed information at present Cryptography - to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and authenticity of electronic information (basic concepts, principles of encryption). The using of symmetric and asymmetric ciphers, examples. Hash functions, checksums, algorithms. The digital signature and its verification Mathematics of interest rates, practical tasks Random events and statistics, data, observations and measurements Measured characteristics and scales, description of the data Statistical characteristics - mean, median, variance Interesting tasks of mathematics of chance Decisions as a statistical problem
