Course content
Topics of seminars: 1. Human personality and his assertiveness, own personality. 2. Businessman personal equipment as negotiator, communication. 3. Negotiation relationship - business dealing. 4. Phases and progress of business negotiations, its preparation. 5. Business tactics, business communication. 6. Principles of social behavior - social protocol, commercial and diplomatic protocol. 7. Intercultural communication, specialty in trading with foreign partners. 8. Specifics of individual countries.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 24 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
To learn new skills to control ourselves, to be successful and without stress in difficult situations. To learn new skills of assertive behaviour and rules of effective communication within our profesional life. To learn students with the influence of social-culture differences of business negotiations with foreign partners.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined examination

Combined exam consists of a written test and an oral debate. Active participation in the seminar, including filling out a home preparation. Processing specific cultural aspects of selected countries or territories and their presentation.
