Course content
Individual preparation and tuition according to given particular plan intended lecturer, regular lecture don't do. Individual study of selected parts from these topics: Chemistry of natural and synthetic polymers. Possibility of fibre modifications. Surface modification of fibres by plasma, enzymes ? Chemistry of dyes and pigments. Interactions between polymers and molecules of dyes. Theory of textile dyeing and printing. Coating technology. Chemistry of surfactants. Behaviour of surfactants in water solutions. Novel technological principles in textile chemistry.

Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming)

Learning outcomes
The course provides advanced knowledge of the theory and practice of textile chemistry and deals with: Chemistry of natural and synthetic polymers. Chemistry of dyes and pigments. Theory of textile dyeing and printing. Coating technologies. Modification of fiber surfaces . Chemistry of surfactants and detergents. Environmental aspects of textile dyeing and printing. New approaches and technological innovations to textile chemistry.
