Learning outcomes
|
Basic knowledge of the partnership, especially between the academic and the commercial sector. It helps to understand the importance of so called key competencies managing and developing. Although the course can not replace real expertise, it may lead to more effective use of it.Textbook Principles of partnership was prepared as a part of the project TECH_NET. It is supposed to be a basic source of information for courses of new optional subject. Presented text provides basic knowledge of the partnership problems and their possible solutions. It is based on three years analysis of communication between the academic and the commercial sector, whose functioning and difficulties have been charted and solved during the realization of the project TECH_NET.It is divided into five topics, which play crucial role in the process of cooperation between different partners. Lectures includes five interconnected blocks/modules with an emphasis on their synergy and the practical applicability of the information:block I - PROJECT COOPERATION (introduction to project management, project monitoring and report preparation, team work, team role)block II - COMMUNICATION (open communication, communication techniques and skills, communication styles and negotiations' tactics, assertiveness, negotiation and persuasion)block III - PRESENTATION (writing of diploma thesis, presenting of the thesis, study - interships abroad, personal presentation, recruitment in the company)block IV - RESPECTING DIFFERENCES IN CORPORATE CULTURE (corporate culture, internal communication, external communication)block V - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION (systematics of intellectual property rights, copyrights and rights related to copyrights, industrial property rights, trademark rights)
