Course content
Lectures: 1)Pre-treatment, bleaching optical brighteners, finishing of blends (cotton-polyester, wool-polyester), wetting, washing, basic washing equation, washing machines 2)Eqhaustion dyeing, padding deying, basic therms, dyeing groups, dyes for basic textile fibres, continual and semicontinual processes of dyeing, color measurement, color difference, CIE, color triangle 3)Basic principles of printing, printing technologies, comparison of protings, composition and =properties of printing pastes, transfer printing 4)Final finishing: nonwrikage, non-ironing, waterrepellent, nonflamable, oleophobic 5)Technical preparation of production in clothing technology 6)Machinery and equipment in clothing production. 7)Connecting and ironing process in clothing production. 8)CAD systems in apparel production. 9)Characteristics of non-woven fabrics, methods of their production, application areas of nonwovens. 10)Polymers for the production of nonwoven fabrics and their properties, Binders for nonwovens production. 11)Preparation of fibrous layers of mechanical, thermal and chemical processes. 12) Mechanical, thermal and chemical methods of fiber reinforcement layers. Laboratory: 1. Introduction, laboratory rules 2. - 5. Presentation of technology on department of textile chemistry I, II, III, IV. 6. - 9. Presentation of technology on department of nonwovens I, II, III, IV. 10. - 13. resentation of technology on department of clothing I, II, III, IV. 14. Credit

Learning outcomes
Course Textile technology 2 together with the subject Textile technology 1 informs about the background of all standard textile technologies. Within the Textile technology 2 course students are informed about the technology of textiles finishing, nonwovens production and clothing technology. This course gives students a good basis for understanding the textile technology and allows students to further development in related subjects.

Combined examination

The credit: Finishing on all laboratory exercises. Elaborate and defence laboratory records. Finishing on knowledge test over fix limit of point figure. The examination: be composed of written and vive part.
