Students will - understand and be able to distinguish between different kinds of multilingualism - analyze the Czech borderlands as multilingual regions - appreciate individual as well as societal multilingualism as a cognitive and communicational resource - get acquainted with national and international (EU, UN) legislation and policies to implement multilingualism - identify and elaborate on basic skills and strategies to make use of their own multilingual resources.
