Course content
1. Concrete foundations 2. White tanks + vibroisolation 3. In situ cast structures of the multistorey buildings, bracing and dilatations of structures 4. Lightened floor slabs, folded plates and long-barrel shells 5. Precast and prefab-monolithic concrete structures of the multi-storey buildings 6. Precast structures of halls + industrial ground floor slabs 7. High rise concrete buildings 8. Membranes and shells 9. Perimeter claddings made of architectural concrete, concrete furniture 10. Rehabilitation of the concrete structures 11. Masonry structures 12. Rehabilitation of the masonry structures

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Practicum

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the design of reinforced concrete buildings and structures of various types and purposes, including their foundations. The course also includes the basics of designing masonry buildings, including the basics of their reconstruction.
Basic knowledge of designing individual types both of in situ cast and precast reinforced concrete structures, including their foundations. Basic knowledge of masonry building design. Orientation in the issue of reconstruction of reinforced concrete and masonry structures.

Successful previous completion of the course BK1

Oral exam, Written assignment, Test

Participation in lectures and exercises at least 75% Elaboration of the given examples
