Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basics of statics of building structures in the scope of statically determinate plane structures.
Basic orientation in the field of statics of building structures in the scope of statically determinate plane structures. Ability to preliminary design and assess a simple statically determinate structure made of timber or steel.
