The course introduces students to the basic idea of corporate social responsibility, which represents a way of doing business that goes beyond ethical, legal, commercial and social expectations. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) requires a shift from a "profit only" level to a wider level that includes the "people, planet, profit". The course will present three basic pillars: social policy of the company, environmental management in relation to the economic aspects of the company. Students will be introduced to the implementation of the CSR concept into corporate practice, CSR tools and the positive effects of the concept. The theoretical part of the subject will be supplemented by practical examples of CSR not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme. The obtained knowledge will be applicated in practice within company management on the level of top and middle management.
