Lectures (topics): 1.Theory of law: law, legal norm, sources of law. 2. Constitutional Law, Constitution of the Czech Republic 3. Fundamental Rights and Freedoms. 4. The European Union 5. Private law: concept, basic principles, binding legal norms, legal facts. Civil Law 6. NOZ entities: concept, natural persons, legal persons, consumer, entrepreneur, representation. 7. Things: concept, division, part of a thing, accessory of a thing, security. 8. Absolute property rights: concept, property rights, possession, ownership, co-ownership. 9. Property rights to other people's property: concept, lien, right of retention, easements, right of construction. 10. Relative property rights: concept, origin of obligations, content of obligations 11. Relative property rights: changes in obligations, securing and confirming debts, joint debts and receivables, contract, consumer contracts. 12. Relative property rights: obligations from legal actions. 13. Relative property rights: obligations from torts and other legal grounds. 14. Basic concepts of commercial law: business, entrepreneur, business corporation.

Learning outcomes
|
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to build a legal consciousness of the student on the basis of knowledge of legal concepts that are important for understanding the law. Student will understand the basic legal concepts after successful completion of the subject and institutes. Student will be able to interpret legal transcripts, analyze legal order, and use general legal terminology to work with legal texts.
