Course content
(A) Business corporation. 1. the Transitional provisions of the law on commercial corporations. 2. the Concept of establishment, capital investment, market share, authorities, cancellation and demise. 3. the Various legal forms of commercial company and the team. (B) Commercial companies. 4. the Legal arrangements in accordance with the commercial code. 5. the Concept of species, creation, disappearance, capital investment, trade share, trade register. 6. the Various legal forms of commercial company and the team. (C) the Right to Work. 7. Labour law: concept, sources, relationships, basic principles, bodies. 8. the Employment relationship. The agreement on the work held outside the employment relationship. 9. Working hours. Rest period. Obstacles at work. Vacation. 10. the Remuneration of the workers. Reimbursement of expenses. Employee care. 11. Liability for damage. Safety and health protection at work. (D) the Civil procedural law. 12. Civil procedural law: concept, sources, the bodies of civil proceedings. 13. the Types of civil proceedings. The Taking Of Evidence. 14. Decisions and appeals. The costs of proceedings.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to create student´s legal consciousness based on the knowledge of legal concepts necessary for understanding law, its aim, development and organization, and its proper application to practice. Students will become knowledgeable in the Czech legal system and be able to work with legal sources. Labour Law, Civil Process.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme. Students will gain competence to apply knowledge from this course in the course Topical law Issues, in practice, in bachelor thesis, in master thesis.
Prerequisites
Students don't need special knowledge or visit other courses.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

Exam: written. Test from subject content with a success rate of at least 60%. Combined Studies: Exam: written. Test of the subject content with a minimum of 60% success rate. The student has to attend 50%. In case the student fails to do so, he / she will ask the lecturer to submit a seminar paper. Students prepare one seminar paper in the range of 5 A4 pages. The topic of the thesis will be determined individually after consultation with the student from the content of the subject with regard to his / her practice. The student submits the work during the semester. A debate on the work and its final evaluation will then take place. Without fulfilling the obligation the student cannot enroll and take the exam.
