Course content
|
Andragogy - objectives and specifics of adult education, retraining as part of lifelong learning, distance learning. Historical development of the theory of adult education, Baťa school of labor, social determination of education and adult education. Psychological aspects of adult education. Adult care. Burn-out syndrome, risk groups, risky workplaces, risk situations, prevention of burnout. Habits of quality work and personal life (Stephen Covey). Learning theory - Knowles (andragogy), Jarvis (model of adult learning), Mezirow (transformational learning theory). Human resources and human resources development. Coaching. Education of seniors. Didactic methods of adult education.

Learning outcomes
|
The course acquaints with basic specifics, history and theoretical framework of adult education. Part of the course are principles of distance learning and work with the elderly.
The student focuses on basic concepts of adult learning theory. He understands basic learning theories in adult education. He understands that the subject of adult education is also self-care and care for an adult. The student reflects the stages of adult development and the specifics of adult education at each stage of development. Student is familiar with basic didactic methods of adult education.

Basic knowledge of pedagogy and psychology.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio, Written assignment, Test
Active work in lectures. Student's own study before attending the class according to the teacher's requirements. Work on assignments in the student portfolio. Passing the exam in the form of a test with open questions.
