Course content
The course further develops and deepens didactic competencies in connection with Didactics I. It leads students to a professional description of teaching situations and an understanding of the influence of the environment on student learning. The course connects knowledge with the psychological courses Student Development and Developmental Possibilities and Psychology of the Student and School Class. The course creates the prerequisites for analyzing strategic teaching models and for planning and evaluating educational programs. Subtopics: 1. Creating conditions for student learning activities - pedagogical interaction and communication in teaching. Individual characteristics of pupils as determinants of the course and results of learning, determinants of school success, individualization of teaching in relation to the educational needs of individual pupils. Motivation, activation of pupils. Working with a heterogeneous class, pupils with special educational needs. Social aspects of teaching - group dynamics in the classroom, classroom climate. (3 hours) 2. Evaluation and reflection on teaching and learning. Pedagogical and didactic diagnostics - the meaning, function, and forms of testing and evaluation, supportive and formative evaluation, feedback and the significance of mistakes in learning, guiding students toward self-evaluation. Teacher self-reflection, reflection on teaching. (3 hours) 3. Innovative trends in education. Flipped classroom, elements of gamification in teaching, blended learning, use of AI in lesson planning. (2 hours)
