Course content
|
As part of Reflective Teaching Practice III, students further develop their professional competencies, particularly during independent or paired teaching. They also attend classes and assist in teaching, which gives them the opportunity to observe experienced colleagues at work and learn from their examples. Based on the vision they have created, students evaluate the progress of their experiences and the implementation of strategies that lead to the achievement of the vision. Form of practice: - introductory meeting - teaching assistance or observation - independent or paired teaching - reflection and joint lesson planning with the accompanying teacher - final meeting

Objectives: - I convey teaching content to students as part of the process of conceptual and operational didactic analysis of the curriculum; - I am familiar with the interrelationships between the subjects taught and am able to convey them to students; - Based on my knowledge of the content of curricular documents, I formulate teaching objectives. - From a wide range of teaching methods and organizational forms, I choose those that lead to the fulfillment of teaching objectives. - I formulate individual tasks carried out within the framework of teaching in a comprehensible manner and check whether students have understood them. - From a wide range of teaching methods and organizational forms, I choose those that lead to the fulfillment of teaching goals; - During teaching, I communicate effectively with students and provide them with feedback; - I use various assessment methods to evaluate students' progress in learning; - I am able to communicate with students' parents and effectively resolve any issues with them; - I act in accordance with professional ethics in my teaching. - I observe my colleagues' lessons in order to improve my own teaching. - I obtain feedback from my mentor teacher and take it into account when planning my lessons. - I formulate my vision as a teacher and work to fulfill it. - After completing the internship, students will submit a teaching diary describing the course of the internship. - Students will submit confirmation from the school that they have completed the internship and an evaluation from the supervising teacher. - The accompanying teacher verifies the fulfillment of the objectives, assessing the extent to which professional competencies have been developed, and informs the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty of Education of the Technical University of Liberec in cooperation with other departments of the Faculty of Education of the Technical University of Liberec about their findings. - The fulfillment of the objectives is verified within the framework of group reflection on the internship, where the competency framework for teaching graduates is used. During the reflection, students receive feedback and have the opportunity to engage in self-reflection with the help of a training teacher and employees of the KPP FP TUL and other departments of the FP TUL, and to assess the gradual development of their competencies. Based on the reflection, the further course of the professional practice will be planned. - Observation of the participant's teaching, which includes reflection on the course of teaching with the participant and their accompanying teacher. - Tripartite meeting with the possibility of online participation by tripartite members, if a face-to-face tripartite meeting has already taken place in Reflective Practice II. Evaluation of the student's independent output with the support of a reflective and self-reflective tool, evaluation of the positive components of the output with regard to the competency framework.
