Learning outcomes
|
Emotions, Authenticity, and Communication in Relationships with Teenagers. The aim of this course is to provide students with a deeper understanding of adolescents' emotional experiences and to develop the skills necessary for effective communication and trust-building. The course emphasizes experiential activities, supporting authenticity in the teacher's role, and developing techniques of self-compassion, mindfulness and selected approaches from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Another key goal is the development of psychological flexibility, the ability to act in alignment with one's values even in challenging situations. Students will learn to recognize and regulate their own emotional responses, better understand adolescents' emotional expressions, and foster an environment of mutual respect and collaboration in the classroom.
