Course content
The course introduces students to different target groups, pupils and students, adult and senior populations (interns, senior homes, facilities for convicted people and imprisonment). Students learn about the context of the functioning of selected facilities and the system of state or local government administration. All preparatory activities and subsequent analysis and managed group reflections are part of all the visit activities. The student keeps a journal as a basis for the final portfolio of practical training.

Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Observation
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 14 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 12 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course uses hospitation visits in selected institutions and focuses thematically on their analysis and reflection.
After completion of the course student will be able: 1. to understand the content of prescribed curriculum of the course 2. to reflect the topics of the course critically 3. to demonstrate specific intellectual skills gained in a course in writing of a portfolio 4. to apply gained knowledge in educational practice

Basic knowledge of general pedagogy.

Student's performance analysis, Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio, Presentation of group work, Written assignment
