Course content
1. Thesis, concept of diploma thesis, goals, meaning. 2. Formal page of diploma thesis (assignment, statement, citation rules, graphics, scholar text, writing ethics). 3. Collaboration with the consultant of the diploma thesis, rules, contact, consultation. 4. Project of diploma thesis, structure, scholar text style. 5. Possibilities and risks of non-text parts (tables, graphs, pictures), technical side of diploma thesis. 6. Evaluation, assessment, analysis and utilization. 7. Defense of diploma thesis. Preparation, presentation methods.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)

Learning outcomes
The course acquaints students with the principles of diploma thesis elaboration. The content of the course is focused on the design of a scholar text with regard to the specificity of research in the science of education. The emphasis is on operationalization of objectives, problem formulation and interpretation, text finalization and procedures related to the defense of diploma thesis. The output is the elaboration and defense of the concept of own diploma thesis with thematic literary research.
After completion of the course student will be able: 1. to understand the content of prescribed curriculum of Project of diploma thesis 2 2. to reflect the topic critically 3. to demonstrate specific intellectual skills gained in a course in writing of a project of diploma paper
Prerequisites
Student has basic knowledge of pedagogy.

Oral presentation of self-study, Written assignment

Presentation and defense (colloquium) of the concept of diploma thesis (topic, aim, meaning, method, theoretical support, terminology, sources, risks, problems or research problem and possibilities of solution).
