Course content
Topics: 1. Introduction to the issue - definition of the field of inclusive (special) education. Current theory and practice in the field of special education. 2. The system of care for individuals with special needs in the Czech Republic, current legislation. 3. Cooperation with the family of an individual with special needs. 4. Children with visual impairments in informal education inclusion. Children with hearing impairments in informal education inclusion. 5. Children with physical disabilities in informal education inclusion. 6. Children with mental disabilities in informal education inclusion. Children with autism spectrum disorders in informal education inclusion. 7. Children with impaired communication skills in informal education inclusion.

Learning outcomes
The course is designed to help students understand the issue of inclusion and enable them to work with children with special educational needs at a basic level in informal educational activities. Outcomes: Students will be able to plan and implement educational situations with regard to the individuality of the child, the specific needs of children and young people, and the requirements of an inclusive environment.
