Course content
- Shared interview - writing questions connected with designing and managing of an educational project. Classification and structuring of questions, creating a mental map. - Shared analysis of examples (listening, video). - Group analysis of examples (documentation, project's products, textbooks, literature). - Presentation and discussion. - Generalisation - requirements for integrated thematic and projec instructions (selection of a topic, goals setting, adjusting of an environment, relations, tools, rules, evaluation). Opportunities for efective combining of both methods. - Discussion - types of projects, generalizing of methods, pros and cons, opportunities for their sollution. - Managed planning of project education. Teacher will design their own project suitable for their environment. They learn 5 grades methodics for project designing. - Teachers will suggest working organisational and content inter-subject's links. They suggest necessary requirements for succesful preparation and realisation of the project. - Presentation of project plans. - Offer for consultation for project designing - Reviewing, self-assessment, feed back - Brainstorming - mapping of preconcepts from project teaching. What do children usually do during project education? How does the learning process differ from ordinary lessons? - Comparison and classification of different activities to various methods of teaching. In what aspects does a project resamble to other methods? In what aspects does it differ? - Differentiating of a project from various coopeative and group methods, field work or problem learning. - Comparison of model of integrated thematic instruction and projects, differentiating with a help of a simple graph. Generalizing of features and designing own definition of both methods.

Learning outcomes
The course is aimed at finding the characteristics and definition of project instruction, assessment of options, benefits, drawbacks and pitfalls of its implementation.
After completion of the subject student will be able 1. to understand the content of prescribed curriculum of ......... 2. to reflect the topic critically 3. to demonstrate specific intellectual skills gained in a course in writing of a semestral theses 4. to apply gained knowledge in educational process 5. to be motivated for continuous learning in the field
Prerequisites
Student has basic knowledge of General Pedagogy and Didactics, History of Pedagogy.

Student's performance analysis

Study objectives: 1. active participation on the lecture 2. participants will perform all given tasks 3. reading of relevant academic texts 4. writing a semestral academic paper 5. successful accomplishment of institutional objectives of the course - attainment above the minimum requirements for the award of credit
