Course content
The course introduces the basic theory of education issues. Theory of education as a pedagogic science. Biological and social factors forming personality, personality concepts, socialization. Education, educational goals. Educational goals and their historical and social conditionality. Lifestyle, personal values, psychosocial development. Leisure time and youth. Leisure time socialization. Communication and its influence on psychosocial development. Referential groups. Socialization and individualization, self-knowledge, self-esteem, self-education. Crisis in child s (pubescent s, adolescent s) life. Social support, prevention, institutional education.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)

Learning outcomes
The subject introduces the student to the basic problems of the theory of education with regard to the teaching profession. The subject synthesizes the pedagogical and psychological contexts of upbringing and education and thus helps the student to create his own pedagogical (educational and educational) style.
After completion of the subject student will be able To understand the content of prescribed curriculum of Theories of education

Student has basic knowledge of pedagogy.
