Course content
1. Adult education, its capabilities and limitations. Andragogy didactics. 2. Adult person in learning process. Specifics of education and learning of adults. 3. Personality and role of tutor in adult education. Importance of work with feedback. Supervision, self-promotion. 4. Individual education and development. Individual education methods - analysis of traces and results of activities, observing and shadowing, interview, experiment, mentoring. 5. Group education and development. Group education programs and plans. Group training. Creation of team. 6. Topics of learning activities (specification). Definition of form, content and course of educational program. Measurement of quality and effectiveness of programs. Getting feedback and presentation of outputs of education. 7. Gerontopedagogy. Possibilities and limits of work with elderly people.

Learning outcomes
The course focuses on cycle of process of education of adults, from formulation of educational contract, through grasping specifics of working with adults (young adulthood, middle adulthood and senior age), to definition of objectives, content, and choice of methods of educational process. Students will get acquainted with possibilities and rules of individual and group education of adults. A substantial part of course is to work on self-cognition of own talents and limitations of students as potential educators in field of adult education.
After finishing the course student is able to independently make educational contract, define type, content, and methods for educational program, to establish indicators for measuring its effectiveness, and is able the program at least partially implement.
Prerequisites
Student has basic knowledge of general pedagogy.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral presentation of self-study, Written assignment

Active participation in seminars. Processing of home assignments and their presentation in seminars, study of literature on the topics discussed. Within the graded credit, students will demonstrate the ability to independently deduce the assignment for the educational program, elaborate its detailed proposal and present specific activity from it.
