Course content
|
Aggression - definition of aggression and assertiveness, causes of aggression (biological, psychological, social, situational), types of aggression (verbal and physical, direct and indirect, active and passive), solving and preventing aggression of children and adolescents in leisure time. (Cyber)bullying - the position and role of children and adolescents in the group, relationships between children and adolescents in a group, (cyber)bullying and its actors (aggressor, victim, majority viewer), developmental stages of (cyber)bullying (changes in perception and expressions of (cyber)bullying, types of (cyber)bullying, diagnosis of (cyber)bullying in the group, solving and preventing (cyber)bullying in leisure time. Abuse and neglect (CAN) - definition of CAN, identification of CAN manifestations in child and adolescent by leisure time educator, procedure in case of suspicion of CAN at child and adolescent, cooperation of leisure-time educator with social and legal protection of children and police at suspicion on CAN at children and adolescents, duty of notification of leisure-time educator when suspected of CAN in child and adolescent, preparedness of leisure-time educator for intervention for child and adolescent with suspected CAN. Dependence behavior - determination of addictive behavior, causes of experimentation and addictive behavior (biological, psychological, social, situational), types of experimentation and addictive behavior (substance and non-substance addictions, legal and illegal addictive substances), solving problems related to experimentation of children and adolescents with addictive substances by the leisure-time educator, prevention of addictive behavior by the leisure-time educator.

Learning outcomes
|
The course acquaints students with chosen types of the risk behavior of children and adolescents and the possibilities of their preventing and resolving by the leisure-time educator and other institutions.
Student knows selected forms of risk behavior of children and adolescents, their symptoms, causes, ways of solving and prevention. Student is able to solve the occurrence of selected forms of risk behavior in children and adolescents from the position of leisure-time educator. Student will propose an improvement of his primary general prevention program for a selected age group and a selected form of risk behavior.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam, Presentation of group work
Active participation in the lecture. Design and presentation of improvement of the primary general prevention program for selected age group and selected form of risk behavior.
