A foreign excursion is realized in the seminar.

Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence, Group consultation

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to process a selected pedagogical topic on the basis of a visit to a pedagogical institution or on the basis of a visit to a selected museum, exhibition, etc. related to the topic of a foreign pedagogical excursion. It is also planned to visit a foreign university partner institution and hold a professional lecture by a foreign teacher for FP TUL students on the topic of a foreign excursion.
After completion of the subject student will be able: 1. to understand the content of prescribed curriculum of the course 2. to reflect the topic critically 3. to demonstrate specific intellectual skills gained in a course in writing of a semestral theses 4. to apply gained knowledge in educational process 5. to be motivated for continuous learning in the field

Prerequisites
|
Student has basic knowledge of general pedagogy on high school level.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student's performance analysis, Presentation of group work
Active participation. Elaboration of all assigned tasks. Reading professional literature.
