Course content
1. Topic of academic paper - narrowing and formulation of topic, ways of realization and processing of academic paper, methodological processing options. Professional and popular science or popularizing paper. Academic educational journal studies and academic monographs and collective monographs. 2. Types of academic papers in pedagogical periodicals - overview study, research study, theoretical study, discussion. Individual examples of studies, characteristics of individual studies. Working with source text. 3. Practical workshop for creation of various types of academic journal studies - analysis of concrete examples and own attempts at creating academic paper - formulation of topic, structure of academic paper, stylistics and syntax. First version of academic paper and its repair. Citation practice, ethical principles of making academic paper. Academic paper reviews, work with review comments. 4. Principles of making academic text and qualification thesis - from the loose wording of topic to content of the text and methodological framework of topic. Examples of good and bad practice in the area of making academic texts within the framework of diploma theses. 5. Exhibition as a kind of professional discussions and presentation of academic texts. Exhibition as a kind of popularization of pedagogical research results or activity of educators. Exhibition and its possibilities of use in presentation of work of educational institutions. Concept of exhibition, structure of exhibition, didactic construction of exhibition.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)

Learning outcomes
The course acquaints students with basic types of scholar papers, practically analyzes its structure, construction of scholar paper, types of reasoning, methodological topics, and leads students to create their own scholar paper. Course teaches students suitably articulate and search topics of scholar papers, structure scholar paper and draws attention to the ethical rules of scholar papers and correct citation practice.
After completion of the course student will be able: 1. to understand the content of prescribed curriculum of Principles of creating scholar pedagogical text 2. to reflect the topic critically 3. to demonstrate specific intellectual skills gained in a course in writing of a semestral paper 4. to apply gained knowledge in educational practice
Prerequisites
Student has basic knowledge of methodology of pedagogical research.

Oral presentation of self-study, Written assignment
