Course content
|
Topics: 1. Educational - educational program of the institution as a framework for pedagogical work for an out-of-school educator - programs of school facilities, programs of non-profit organizations, programs of cultural institutions 2. Didactic aspects of program creation - specifics of the target group, program objectives, its content, organization, methods, conditions (time, space, material), program evaluation 3. Programs based on constructivist and socio-constructivist concepts of learning and education - the learning process from the perspective of socio-constructivism - J. Piaget, J. S. Bruner, L. Vygotsky. Phases of the educational process - evocation, awareness, reflection. Conditions for successful educational activities of the teacher, use of these concepts in informal education 4. Program Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking - socioconstructivist basis of this program, examples of methods and lessons - methods of reading and writing scientific and fiction texts, conversation and discussion, thought and conceptual mapping, use in social science and environmental programs 5. Programs based on research-oriented teaching - socioconstructivism as a theoretical basis of this teaching model, problem task or question, the essence of the research cycle and its phases, use in natural science and environmental programs 6. Programs based on cooperative learning - the meaning and essence of cooperative activity, principles of the cooperative learning model, methods of cooperative group activity - work on a product, simulation games, role-playing games, dramatic games, examples of use in various educational areas

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to equip students with basic pedagogical and psychodidactic knowledge and skills that they will apply in the creation of short-term educational programmes in the field of non-formal education and education. The programmes will be based on (socio-) constructivist theories and on the theory of cooperative learning and education.

Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Oral presentation of self-study
Active participation in contact teaching. Design and presentation of an educational program in the field of non-formal education and upbringing for a selected age group.
