Course content
1. Concept, history and directions of environmental education in the Czech Republic. 2. Methods of environmental education (simulation games, discussion techniques, short-term educational programs, longer-term projects...). 3. Principles of creating ecological educational programs (goals, models, motivation, evaluation). 4. Usable resources. 5. Walk - direct contact with nature, development of sensitivity. 6. Visit to an eco-center.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Problematic methods (research and exploration), Practicum
Learning outcomes
The course acquaints students with the different directions of environmental education and principles in the compilation of environmental education programs. The student will try model activities of environmental education in the classroom and in the field and will create his own ecological teaching program.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field.
Prerequisites
General orientation in the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Interview, Presentation of group work

Active participation in exercises, presentations, seminar papers.
